wildlife habitat demonstration & education areas

The Michigan Wildlife Conservancy has restored prairie and wetland habitats ranging in size from one to 25 acres and established small outdoor wetland labs, on school-owned properties through its Nature Education Sites for Tomorrow (NEST) Program. Major prairie and wetland restorations have also been conducted at nature centers in Southern Michigan.
