Join Us for our Fall Harvest Social! Fun for the whole family will be on tap, Saturday,
October 8, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. when the Michigan Wildlife Conservancy
(MWC) and Clinton County Department of Waste Management host their annual
Fall Harvest Social, at the MWC's Bengel
Wildlife Center (BWC) in Bath. The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature hands-on and educational activities for the entire family. Explore the BWC grounds by taking a habitat hike or bog tour. Take a horse-drawn wagon ride to the prairie. Bob for apples or go on a scavenger hunt – You might win a prize!
Join The Potter Park Zoo Society with her cast of live animals. Visit with animals brought by the Potter Park Zoo Society. Mostly endangered species and some common Michigan animals. Learn more about these animals and even touch them! Wayne Jackson! Join Mr. Wayne Jackson in a historical journey dating back 10,000 years. With Mr. Jackson, a Tuscarora Indian, as your guide you will travel back in time and explore the Anasazi and Hopewell cultures through storytelling and dance.
